Set up automatic rewards emails

Connect your restaurant rewards using one private forwarding address and one combined Gmail filter.

After setup, matching new restaurant emails can be forwarded to Cravefolio automatically.

Checking your sign-in…

Step 1 — Your private forwarding address

Keep this address private. Only forward restaurant reward messages you want Cravefolio to process. Some email formats and offers may not be recognized yet.

Step 2 — Verify your address with Gmail

Open Gmail in a desktop browser.
Go to Settings → See all settings → Forwarding and POP/IMAP.
Choose Add a forwarding address and paste your private Cravefolio address.
Confirm Gmail's prompts. Gmail should send a verification message to Cravefolio.
Click Check for verification below.
Use the confirmation code or link to complete Gmail's verification. Only proceed if you requested it yourself.

Step 3 — Copy your combined Gmail filter

Your filter is already prepared for all ten restaurants in the Cravefolio directory.

Eight restaurants use the exact sender addresses supplied for testing. Dunkin' and Domino's use broader provisional domain matching.

Your combined Gmail filter:

Important: This filter is intended for testing. Sender addresses and domains can change, and not every restaurant email is necessarily a rewards email. Provisional domain matching may also capture general promotional messages.

Step 4 — Activate One-Time Sync

Click Copy Gmail Filter above.
Open Gmail and paste the expression into Gmail's main search bar. Run the search and review the matching messages.
Open Gmail's advanced search options.
Paste the same complete expression into the Has the words field. Leave the From field empty.
Click Create filter. Gmail may display a warning about search criteria; review it before continuing.
Select Forward it to and choose your verified private Cravefolio address.
Save the filter.

Privacy reminder: Do not enable general forwarding for all incoming Gmail messages. Only forward emails matching your restaurant filter.

Cravefolio cannot independently confirm whether you completed Gmail's filter setup. The filter applies to matching new incoming emails; it does not automatically import your entire email history.

Step 5 — Test your connection

After activating your filter, wait for a matching restaurant email or send a supported restaurant rewards message through your forwarding setup.

Then open My rewards to see whether Cravefolio successfully processed it.

Matching and forwarding an email does not guarantee its reward details can be extracted. Additional restaurant email formats will be supported as parsing is tested.

Adding more restaurants later

When Cravefolio adds or updates restaurant senders, you can copy the revised filter and update your existing Gmail rule.

Gmail filters cannot be changed remotely by Cravefolio without additional Google authorization.
